Fernweh Distilling Co. - Hermann

It’s more than just nice distilled spirits. It’s a great place to eat too! The menu is fairly small, but of high quality. The brisket was excellent. So was the power bowl. The service was skilled and attentive. High-end bartenders too, with some really nice craft cocktails.

Wonderful experience. At the front desk, I was offered an opportunity to taste their in-house bourbons. (Nice, btw. . I then took a seat at the bar and ordered lunch, and it was phenomenal. Sable is an amazing bartender; she really understands the art of the beverage . And yes, that is her real name. It wasn 't too busy when i visited. Atmosphere was laid back, music piped through the overhead speakers. Not too loud. A very good experience. Worth coming back for.

The food when the staff remember you exist is actually quite tasty. Every time I have eaten here I have been forgotten. The first time my sister and I went here we were forgotten and our meal was comped. Food was delicious so we forgave them. Then the second time we go there in ages.... we get forgotten. Again. I don't know of its bad luck or what but that doesn't leave a good impression.Whiskey neat pour is horribly overpriced. There are numerous distilleries in/near Hermann. Go somewhere else for whiskey in protest until prices are brought down to earth.

Excited to stop here on a beautiful Sunday late afternoon. Service was poor. Never came to check on our drinks. We were one of only 2 tables when we arrived. Food took a long time and came out cold. Did not bring our salads before the meal. Brought my husband a salad he did not order and said sorry didn’t have what you wanted and walked away. We had to get our own silverware from the bar. And the food was subpar. If I could give it 0 stars I would because $100 for 3 people to eat with that experience does not deserve 1 star. If we would have been asked how everything was, we could have told them but we were not asked.

Everything was absolutely delicious! From the drinks to the food, I was in culinary heaven!
