This issue was present with both the white rice served with the entrees and the rice in the fried rice dish. As someone of Chinese descent, I'm not overly picky about food, but uncooked rice is one of my pet peeves. Otherwise, the food was delicious, and the staff was polite. It's a great perk to have the option of enjoying both Japanese and Chinese cuisine in one location.
I ordered lo mein and General Tso's chicken, and it was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. It seemed like it had been taken straight out of the refrigerator and just warmed up. It doesn't seem like there are any authentic Chinese chefs in the kitchen.
I travel across the country exploring local cuisines to provide an informed perspective, and I have to say this restaurant offers very low-quality food. They use imitation crab sticks in their sushi, which is a major red flag for any food enthusiast. It’s comparable to gas station sushi. As for the crab rangoons, they were disappointing; it seemed like they simply mixed some seafood salad with cream cheese and deemed it acceptable—there was no real crab or any crab flavor whatsoever. To those who left high ratings, I’m sorry, but I think you need to broaden your culinary experiences.
Got fried wonton and lemon chicken. The wonton were thick and rubbery and the chicken was like it had been held in a steam cabinet for several hours. Ordered online and food was ready on time. Staff were friendly. But food was not worth going back again.
Ordered a generic General Tso lunch special and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken had very good flavor and wasnt a bunch of filler. The sauce also had good flavor. Staff was very polite and courteous upon ordering and picking up.
