Virginia Abc - Herndon

This ABC store was like every other one in Virginia except for one employee that was following me around. He did not ask if I needed help so I offered that I didn't. That didn't stop him from watching me. I won't be going back.

The service is typically average, and the menu selection is decent. However, the employee who assisted me last night was exceptional—friendly, helpful, and upbeat. After such a positive experience, I’m definitely inclined to return to this restaurant again.

For those interested, the Irish Cream Brownies recipe is as follows: combine 1 part water with 1.5 to 2 parts Carolan Irish Cream. Using 2 parts will result in very moist brownies, and you can really smell and taste the Irish cream with Carolan. Trust me, it’s not worth spending money on Baileys; I’ve tried it and couldn’t detect the flavor of the Irish cream. I’ve been advised not to use expensive liquor for cooking or baking. I once used Tennessee Legend cream liqueur, which has a sweeter taste, and it also results in nice big brownies. I found it near Gatlinburg, TN, where it cost $24.99 a bottle. If you’re in the area, you should definitely pick some up. It makes excellent brownies like Carolan, but with a different flavor.

No masks were being worn. All employees should be wearing masks these days. Today, April 20, 2020, the carpenter was sneezing at 6:45 PM and was not wearing a mask. High-touch areas, like credit card machines and signature pads, were also not clean.
