La Chiquita Restaurant

Puebla is well known for its mole. This restaurant came highly recommended and I can see why. It is one of the most famous restaurants in Puebla and is in an original section of restaurants. The prices were reasonable and the portions were large. Everything that we ordered was served hot and was absolutely delicious. We were there in the season when they offer the Chiles en Nogada and it was one of the best I have ever eaten anywhere. I think that they win some type of award for their preparation. The service was fantastic and you can see that they take great pride in their product and their place.

Excellent place to taste real typical Pueblan Mexican food. Great location, walking distance from downtown, more than 100 years of history. Chalupas and mole poblano are particularly awesome! Don’t miss it.

When you 're looking for typical Poblana Cuisine, and you dont want to be in a tourist restaurant, you could clearly come here and have a great meal. We were a 20 people group, so we had a lot of different food dishes: Mole poblano, Chalupas, Chanclas, Nogada paninni ...except cecina and tampiqueña meat. Prices are great, as well as the service.
