Va Pensiero - Hertsmere

We had a family meal there on a Saturday lunch time. There were a lot of us, so we pre-ordered the food. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. Thanks.

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere with dim lighting, creating a warm, cozy, and romantic feel. The portion sizes are generous. I would highly recommend trying the garlic bread with mozzarella and parmesan, as well as the mixed meat dish. For dessert, don't miss the banoffee pie and mint chocolate bombe.

After a few years, we decided to revisit this restaurant and we were not let down. The food was just as delicious as we remembered, with a diverse menu and efficient service. The staff were all friendly, and despite being very busy, the service was quick. The atmosphere was lovely and we would definitely come back and recommend it to others. The mozzarella in Carroza was the best I've ever had. Thank you.

We had a lovely time at Va Pensiero. Really enjoyed the food, the portions were very generous and most of the items were very tasty. Great service and we were able to find parking close by. Standout items were definitely the garlic tomato pesto bread, melanzane parmigiana and penne siciliana. Cannelloni was also nice. Would happily come back and try other items on the menu.
