Tres Sal - Hervey Bay

This restaurant is a quaint little gem with limited seating. The service was excellent. I was a bit let down by the lack of vegan options in the entrees and main courses, especially for a Mexican restaurant where there could be more variety. However, the dishes I did try were tasty and the desserts were delicious, made with vegan ice cream.

Was disappointed. Overpriced and limited options. Small entree. The only vegan option/substitute is mixed veg (like a veg/cauliflower smash) filling.. They do not offer Jackfruit anymore (as advised by staff) and have no tofu option. Basically paid $60 for 2 medium sized veg burritos and 2 small jalapeño poppers. Annoying that they charge $3.50 for vegan cheese. Since I'm not getting expensive meat or dairy. The cheap mixed veg filling, would be way cheaper than meat. So I think it's unfair to charge vegans extra for anything. Had a portion of vegan jalapeño poppers. For $14, I would.expect at least 4 pieces. You get two small poppers. A total rip off. The flavor of the burrito filling was good, but for what it is, it's way overpriced.

I highly recommend. Many options for vegans and vegetarians. Classic up Burrito, Tuesday $10 any taco and Quesadillas. Amazing customer service, delicious food and great location. I am coming back to try other meals for sure. #Veganuary

So refreshing in a town with few options for us Tres Salsas has brilliant options , the staff were incredibly attentive and made great suggestions. They actually make their own vegan cheese. We so enjoyed our food

We stumbled across this place for dinner by chance and my god we were all blown away! The vegan options were so delicious, plenty for everyone with the option to go vegan on lots! We had the vegan poppers, vegan tacos, Mexican rice, charred corn, fajitas, vegan churros (they also had another dessert that was vegan we will have to go back for but we were stuffed! as well as some delicious margaritas and sangria! The staff was soooo friendly and even on the busy Saturday we walked in they managed to squeeze a table of 4 in, it was freezing outside and she moved us inside as soon as a table was free which was really kind with my oldies being so chilly! Can’t recommend enough. Will definitely be back :
