The Hornet’s Nest - Heyworth

Nice service and good food. Friendly small town restaurant. Served a large group with no concerns!

Breakfast was good but we were most impressed with the price. Good amount of food without being too expensive.

The Hornets Nest is a wonderful place to relax and have a great meal without your pocketbook being emptied. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It is a great place to eat alone or having your family.

This restaurant looked clean from the road, and perhaps it was. However, I cannot remember being served such tasteless food. I am a cook, and I'm not sure how they managed to fix eggs and potatoes without taste. Frankly, the food had more aftertaste than flavor. I hate to write a negative review, but the management cannot fix what they don't know about. The staff was friendly, and the place was busy, so maybe it was not my day, but my wife agreed with my assessment, which is unusual.

The only issue is that they charge a service fee for using a debit card, which is against federal law.
