The Highway 5 - Hibbing

After visiting beautiful Mccarthy 's Beach for many years, I was terribly disappointed in the condition of the shore and lake this year. It appears to have not been groomed at all. The velvety, soft sand can 't be found until you get out into the lakeabout 15 to 20 feet. The bottom of the lake is covered with a two inch thick rug of pine needles, pine cones, sticks, rocksand debris. The beach is strewn with the same. It breaks my heart.

Nice place near the wheeler trail and the place looks GREAT after the new owners remodeled it! We stopped in for a bite to eat while wheeling and were happy we did! 3 of us had the Patty Melt and one had Chicken Strips. Everything was delicious and theservice was great too! We are VERY happy to have another option near the trails we ride, and are happy to support them!

We ate here on July 6 and had an appetizer plate, chicken strips, burgers, chicken sandwiches and the parmesan garlic wings, which were huge and excellent. I would highly recommend eating here. Everything we ordered was hot and great tasting. Great waitstaff and prices.

We ordered the fish on Friday. Very good meal, excellent service and competitive prices. I would go back again

This was my first visit. Wonderful food and atmosphere. I look forward to coming back and bring friends.
