Red Dragon - High Peak

Delicious King Prawn Chow Mein and Chicken curry (extra hot). Both were totally delicious. We were staying at a nearby hotel, complimentary prawn cracker and fortune cookies! The front of house person was accommodating, service with a smile and very helpful. Despite listed as closed on TripAdvisor and looking closed from the street, Red Dragon is a superb takeaway! Highly recommended!

Ordered from here yesterday , we ordered chicken and sweet corn soup and a few starters as we didn’t want a full meal . It arrived all I can say it was disgusting everything was over cooked rubbery and dripping in grease , we phoned them and three times they put the phone down on us when they did finally decided to speak they more or less said what do you expect you only ordered starters so they won’t be as good to say we were shocked is an understatement just don’t go there to waste your money !!!!

Waited 1hr 40mins for our food to be delivered, we was told they missed our order but gave us no apology and came across quite rude. When the food finally showed up the delivery driver lingered by the door for a few seconds as though he was waiting for a tip. I’d usually tip but when you order online you pay a delivery fee as well as a service charge! Definitely not £30 well spent.

Have ordered several times and occasionally get the wrong order but if it slightly wrong do not like to complain Tonight the order was so wrong. Called and if you know them they recognise the telephone order. Tonight 2 dishes were not what we ordered, tried to explain and they would not listen. We have been loyal customers but tonight was met with Arrogance. Be aware that if they get order wrong they do not care..I can say that be careful if you order and wrong or if you try and explain they do not give a shot..A lot more Chinese takeaways in Glossop where Customers matter and will not be talked do a bit of dog poo.Please avoid and let your friends know that if you call they will not give a damn.

We ordered a Chinese to be delivered, the operator was very hard to understand and only excepted cash on delivery. The driver couldn’t find us even though I saw him outside our property, eventually after ringing us twice with directions he found us( wish he hadn’t) !!! The food was warm and possibly the worst Chinese I have experienced in many years, not edible and couldn’t recommend to anyone. Avoid red dragon Chinese in glossop very poor over cooked and Luke warm if delivered eventually, couldn’t be bothered to complain because of the lack of English from the person on the end of the phone
