Lao Sze Chuan - Highland Park

The food was fine... however, I?m complaining about the fact that two employees were playing music from their phones the entire time I was eating. This was extremely annoying. I?m not coming back.

We ordered takeout. I was expecting amazing things based on the price. It was just okay. I wouldn 't pay that much in the future for the same food I can get elsewhere around town for less money.

This is my first time. I was hungry so my wife ordered beef brisket noodle and double fried spicy intestine. It taste bland, no flavor. Won?t go back.

We are Asian customers who are very familiar with Chinese foods. The food here tasted like those from low quality fast food restaurants. They do not match the reputation of this restaurant chain around Chicagoland area. Perhaps they had a substitute chef on the day we visited. Very disappointed. Will not come back or recommend.

The Mongolian Lamb was very good, as were the pea pod leaves. The pot stickers were bland need some type of seasoning to make them tasty. The staff was very attentive welcoming. Unfortunately, they did not have their full liquor license when we dined, so we couldn't have any cocktails from their extensive menu.
