The Egg - Highlands Ranch

I first came here about a month ago and it 's my new favorite place. I 'm here 2 or 3 times a week now because the food and staff are totally awesome! It 's a small diner with excellent american and mexican food. My favorite is the Spanish skillet with a sideof beans, YUM! All the servers are great and Yensenia always takes great care of me. The real rock stars are the Chefs. EnEspañol, Los Cocineros Chingones ! I sat at the tiny but comfortable bar today and got an amazing show. Through thepass-through window you can see the magic happen. These guys are so fast, organized, and happy. They could tell I was watchingand smiled and said Hi and asked how my breakfaat was tasting. They never lost their temper once in this fast paced environmentand constantly communicated with servers. All and all the food, staff, and teamwork cannot be beaten. Thanks for turning meinto a regular Guys!

We love The egg very much! The portions are so generous, the food is delicious! We were twice as far with several people who everyone loved their food! It's not just a delicious breakfast... it's home cooking like chicken fried steak, roast beef or pork chops etc. or the delicious healthy sandwich with all kinds of vegetables chicken ...big salad dressings...appetizers..great children's senior menu etc. The portions are very generous, the prices are unreal, especially for what you get!!!!!!!!!!!!! Judith is beyond delightful, also the young man who fills the drinks was a real pleasure... Highlands Ranch needed such a restaurant! I hope everyone supports this family restaurant. If you're from the south or from a small town, that's your place! Great home cooking wonderful hospitality. : 5 stars safe!

We tried this place for an early Fathers Day gift to my hubby and dad. It was amazing! Great tasting food, big portions, and super friendly service! Hubby nailed it when he said he did and did not want to recommend because he wants them to stay in business but not get crowded because we want to come back again and again! Thank you!

Their breakfast is awesome! We got three different skillets and pancakes. Everything was great!! “The Egg” skillet is amazing!! Staff was super friendly!!!
