Írjon visszajelzéstI ate twice at Hilo Farmers Market Kitchen during my stay at Hilo. First for breakfast and had an egg sandwich with ham on a croissant. It had pickles and thousand Island dressing and was amazing. I went back for lunch a few days later and had a poke bowl with kimchi cucumbers and purple sweet potatoes as sides. Again, unique and amazing. Highly recommend!
For the authentic experience, this is the spot . Not expensive. Super good traditional Hawaiian food. Like Hawaiians eat here outside dining of course, the pokey was excellent, and the kimchee cucumbers were fresh and snappy. But I was really taken back by the macaroni salad. It was so perfect and simple completely complemented the other two dishes. A great spot for a quick bite.
Hands down the best Poke bowl I’ve ever had. Super friendly staff, fantastic food.
Crazy this was the best pike and shaved ice i had on the island.
The meat was sooo good, tender and savory. Not dry or stiff it was super juicy as well for the ahi belly plate. The imitation crab was pretty good, nothing too special. Cucumber was also tasty but too spicy for me. Also there was a bad ratio of meat to sides in my opinion. Not enough side dishes we had to order more. For the poke bowl, that was really pricy, I highly recommend just getting the ahi belly plate unless you really want the poke.
