Cq's - Hilton Head Island

This was our first visit to CQs in several years, and we were pleasantly reminded of just how wonderful it is! It will definitely be one of our favorite dining spots from now on. Everything we tried was delicious, and the service was exceptional. If we could make one request, it would be to please restock your IPAs!

The calamari was fantastic, but our steaks were tough and difficult to cut and chew.

The food and service were excellent, but we were disappointed that the restaurant wouldn't allow us to combine the Marriott 10% discount on food with the $9.00 gate fee for Sea Pines. We could only use one or the other. Our group felt this was a bit stingy, especially considering we spent over $400 for dinner for four people. It left us with a negative impression.

We've been coming to Sea Pines for the past 28 years, and CQ's never lets us down! It's my absolute favorite restaurant on the island. I adore the atmosphere, and the food is consistently delicious—simple and satisfying.

She crab soup and fried green tomatoes were excellent . Main courses: grilled shrimp very good but spinach was a little bitter. The accompanied polenta cake was great as well as the Tasso ham. The one disappointment was my Corvina fish. It was a thin piece and overcooked and dry. Service and atmosphere was top notch.
