Burhop's Fish-seafood-hinsdale

While our first experience grilling the whole octopus didn't turn out as we had hoped, Burhop offers fresh fish at a reasonable price. The staff is knowledgeable about their products and the best cooking techniques. It's truly the best fishmonger on the north coast, and we look forward to our next visit for their fish dishes.

What a great lobster roll! Do not know where you are the official New England style roles, but they are so good. Can't do any Hlobstah role without her.

I ordered 10 Walleye today, and when I took it up, I think she made a mistake and gave me butter. When I fried, it literally melts in my month. Thank you. Best fish ever

Excellent seafood purses. We drive 30 minutes past another fish dealer to buy from Burhops. The prices are also very reasonable, for fish fresher than you at the supermarket. Staff are very helpful if you are not familiar with something, they can tell you how to cook it. You're worth the trip.

A mainstay in Hinsdale, remembering my mom taking me here all the time growing up. You honestly cannot find a good specialty seafood/fish store in the Western Suburbs. Although their prices are higher than your typical grocery store, the quality is excellent. Good selection of fresh fish/seafood and prepared foods. I'll be back!
