Konoha - Hiroshima

A great hidden gem serving amazing skewers. You have to go up some stairs to the second floor, so don't miss it. The host was very helpful and gave amazing recommendations. The chicken skin, shiro pork, beef and the minced chicken were our favourites. But honestly everything is good. The host was also very proud to show us his wife's very intricate Darumas which are incredibly detailed and awesome little souvenirs. Overall a great place to grab a bite, highly recommended.

Came here, based on the strong reviews and boy it was worth it. The food was great. Every spit was a joy. The owner was super friendly and we joked together while we play the Hanshin Tigers. Very recommended!

The owner is super friendly and the food is really great. He even gave me a little hand-painted doll from his wife. What an amazing place. I'll be back.

Food : This is yakitori restaurant, my favorites are Tsukune, Heart and Gizzard. The rest of the menu also meet standard of good yakitori store Service : The owner Sugi gave us warmth welcome, guidance and friendly service. He also complimented us with free sochu, juices and small Manekineko.

The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming to us even though we can't speak much Japanese. He made some very good recommendations such as his minced chicken (yakitori) stick and chicken skin. The minced chicken stick is not the usual tsukune you find in other izakayas. It is very fluffy, succulent and packed with flavours. Goes well with beer and sake, of course. This izakaya is still relatively hidden from tourists (located on second floor) and in very close proximity to Hiroshima station. Definitely recommend people to drop by for great late-night experience.
