Penaluna's Famous Fish Chips - Hirwaun

I love the fish chips here the portion sizes are perfect, the teig on the fish is easily completely edible. the chips are perfectly boiled (to my taste) never contain terrible crisp over cooked bits. the only chip shop where I can eat every last morsel of food I buy. highly recommended without reservation

What a difference from the typical fish and chips! The batter was lighter, and the fish was far more delicious than we've ever had. The portion sizes were also just right. It's a bit of a drive for us, but absolutely worth it. The family-friendly atmosphere was lovely too! Thank you, Penaluna's!

Eating was amazing, especially the chips! the locals were friendly and lindsey and emily who served us were beautiful. the journey from bristol was worth it. we're coming back!

Called in 2 day 2 have my taco break and was very nice sausage egg and chips and a cup of tea lovely staff and a lovely meal will definitely call in again next time I am up that way keep up the good work and the place was very clean well done
