Biergarten - Hjo

This place seems to cater mainly to the hotel's charter tourists. Prices are high and the food was mediocre. Don't order the red wine of the house appalling. Friendly staff, though. Nice hotel but go for another restaurant when in Hjo.

The variety isn’t huge and there isn’t that crafty vibe. It’s more like stepping into a German, Czech, or Swiss beer garden. That’s not a bad thing, I’m sure that’s the intent, just not what I’d expected from a beer garden in Sweden. I was pleasantly surprised by the casual atmosphere.

Super nice service, cozy outdoor seating, very good food! The schnitzel was so big that we decided to share, and the waitress kindly split it nicely to two plates for us which looked just like a full size main course.

Very nice atmosphere and service, limited, but tasty good food and cold beer combined with a beautiful view over the lake makes my day,

Great reception and friendly staff. The environment is cosy and pleasant. However I chose the house's own sausage and it wasn't quite to my liking. The food was also already a tad cold when served.
