Lido - Hjoerring

This restaurant used to be good but it has deteriorated and is now not even close to what is used to be. This is evident when looking at the recent grades compared to a couple of years ago. We had Stjerneskud (claimed to be the best in Lønstrup). I have not yet tried the others but seriously doubt this. I do not recommend Lido and will not come back. I complained about the fact that 2 out of 5 dishes had hair in the food. The staff did not even appologize for this but answered ”we have a lot of guests” as if I was wrong in complaining. I guess this tells all about the current ambition level. I have given the grade 2 out of 5 and this is generous.

Very bad tasting food. They use the same kebab-ish dressing in every dish. The dishes are served on a vireity of strange formed plates. What an awful experience.

Visited 8 persons. Pizza, pasta and tortillas was not good at all the worst we have had for a long time, and soft drinks were all flat . Typical examples of a restaurant with way way to many options (more than 100), where qualify and food freshness suffers. Restaurant was uninspired decorated. The fish (Rødspætte med persillesovs) were actually not bad, and was fresh and only thing that was any good. Staff is very friendly and quick.

I am certainly not impressed, the service and food is definitely not improving. Very boring, not somewhere I would aim for.

We had the fish platter with saffron rice and sauce, it was amazing. The restaurant inside is very cozy and the staff very friendly.
