Letties Kitchen - Hockessin

I had lunch at Lettie's today, and I have to say it doesn't compare to the best bun I've ever had. My late mother's buns were truly unmatched. However, today’s experience was excellent as well. It's hard to believe you’re outside of Kentucky when the food is this good. I’d rate it five out of five stars, but if I could give Lettie's ten stars, I would!

I had at this weekend my sonny graduation party and ordered the eating of lettie’s! everything I ordered was absolutely delicious! the fried chicken was the best! mac n cheese was perfect! the ziti was great! I will definitely order food again from lettie’s!

We refer to it as "chicken crack"! It’s addictive, like a drug you can’t resist. Whatever has a little bit of character, we believe it’s just right. My favorites are the broccoli salad and the homemade potato salad. It’s perfect for days when you don’t feel like cooking.

This is the best fried chicken in town! I've lived in Hockessin my entire life, and this place outshines all the other fried chicken spots I've tried. They won the Best of Delaware award in 2014 for their fried chicken, and I can totally see why. Their mac and cheese is fantastic as well! If you haven't tried it yet, you definitely should.

Today was mine and my husbands first time at Lettie’s. We felt immediately welcomed as we walked in the door to pick up our fried chicken dinner (fried chicken, Mac cheese, coleslaw, biscuits and we added green beans). It’s the rare type of positive energy that is hardly seen anymore. The owner, Tom, packed us up some turkey rice soup to try and it was beyond delicious…Everything we got was!! We will definitely be returning for more and will recommend it to everyone!! Great job Lettie’s!! Wish we had found ya sooner!! Thanks for the amazing food!!
