Friture 't Smulhuis - Hoensbroek

Made an order tonight at the smulhuis in Hoensbroek, we have been ordering there for years and ALWAYS tip the delivery!! On this evening I had 15 euros in cash at home. (We normally order via home delivery and pay with iDeal) Now I called and placed an order for €15.60 and I thought I was 10 cents short of delivery. So I ask on the phone, can I have it for 10 cents less? The woman on the other end of the phone would ask. In the meantime I found some loose change in my bag. The woman comes on the line and starts making a fuss about the 10 cents... so I say don't worry, I already have it, but I think it's scandalous that you are making a fuss about 10 cents while I always tip. A young man comes to the door and I express my frustration as I hand him the money, he tells me that I could have gotten it too. Even though the food was good, I still have a bad aftertaste about the service of the Smulhuis team. Shame.

The last time I bought fries of sour meat from the smulhuis, my fries were completely soft and not nice and crispy and there was hardly any sour meat or sauce to be seen. Hopefully something will be done about this next time.
