Írjon visszajelzéstHi. This review is somewhat overdue. I was with my wife and a friend at the night of 20. November 2017 there. Really good food and decent service. They're understated, but what they don't have in numbers, they're strenuous. Unfortunately, the evening was not so pleasant, Ms Scripnic had to be served with a quite explicitly rude and unruly party that decided that they were not fast enough (it was a party of more than 10 people). So, if you read the reviews here, take those who complain about the service with a grain salt. Ms. Scripnic is an extremely competent and professional manager and we were amazed at how she treats the unruly customers with peace and poetry. She definitely goes over and above ground to ensure that it is customer satisfaction. I'd go back to this place in Chicago next time. To Mrs Scripnic: I'm sorry, it took so long. We had a fantastic night (minus of the unruly customers you had, but that was in no way the fault of the restaurant). Stop the fantastic work. Dave and Jessie, Redmond, WA.
If you have people who eat like a variety of things, that is your place. You get in touch and choose what you want (like a food dish) that you wait for your order and find a place. There is a lot to see on the walls and hang on the ceiling. Have fun and we're going back. The garlic bread is really delicious!
Anyone familiar with Indian Chinese? Haha. More often than not, we Indians pick up any cuisine, add our masalas to it and customize it to fit our taste buds. One such place in Schaumburg, Chicago that is highly raved about by the abundant Indians there is Bombay Chopsticks by India House. The name gives everything away! We were a large group of about 20 people seated right in the middle of a very Indian crowd. Super lavish, authentic Indian decor. We were a blend of vegetarians and non vegetarians, with us veggies in a minority as usual. Taking you through our veg. food, we ordered: Manchow Soup Paneer Chilly Cottage Cheese in Szechuan Sauce Multiple options for sauces Chilly Garlic Rice ? Noodles ? Gravy Vegetable Balls in Manchurian Sauce Strawberry Daiquiri We ordered 2 soups. Can you believe how Indian this place is, that they even give you 2 by 4's in soups! The Manchow Soup was a bowl full of hot, muted flavours. It wasn't brilliant, but a good way to start. Everyone was in the mood for Chinese food over North Indian or Mughlai cuisine or Chaats which is all available there . For appetizers we had Paneer Chilly. We even managed to get a Jain version of it. Unlike all other cottage cheese you get there, this wasn't too hard or chewy. It was a nice dish, a little sweet. But good. For Mains we called for one rice, one noodles and a Manchurian Gravy. I can't remember the names of what exactly, but I'm pretty certain the Rice was a burnt chilly garlic rice. This was absolutely delicious! A very fine meal indeed. I ordered the Strawberry Daiquiri for myself. It looks pretty as a picture and tasted amazing too. It was smooth and a little bit on tbe sweeter side just how I like it! There was a hoard of non vegetarian food and drinks that were ordered. Practically every person had called for their individual Dish and Cocktail Mocktail. It was a bit much to keep track of everything ordered, but I do know that every single person absolutely loved the food here. Also I sipped on a lot of other cocktails to tell you they were all amazing! It is safe to say that the Non Vegetarian food was far superior than the Vegetarian food, especially in variety. Food 4 5 Drinks 4 5 Ambiance 4 5 Service 3.5 5 Value for Money 3 5 We had a wonderful dining experience at Bombay Chopsticks. Certainly a magnet for all Indians. But I do have to say, that this place is rather expensive. We ran up a bill of over $500 and it majorly pinched our pockets considering we were a bunch of students on a budget. If you're not, then this place will rock your world with amazing Indian food. This place is definitely worth visiting, atleast once!
Indian Chinese Chinese, done the Indian way. The best way to have Chinese! In the States, that's something I miss the most. Although you do find some really good Indian restaurants at times, it is not often that you come across an Indian Chinese place. I was delighted to be introduced to this. We got here on a Saturday, almost when they were ready to call it a night. We were seated quickly and were handed the menus. They are not only limited to Indian Chinese, they serve other dishes inspired by Asian cuisine. The ambiance is lovely and leaning towards fine dining. We ordered: Vegetable Manchow Soup (This was really tasty and spicy! It wasn't the kind I am used to, usually it's very garlicky and is topped with fried noodles. Vegetable Dumplings (This was nice. I wasn't particularly fond about the filling but, Anand loved it. Mushroom Pepper and Salt (This was really tasty, spicy and slightly crispy. Vegetable Manchurian (This was served with rice and the gravy was warm and just right. Pad Thai (I think my friends weren't blown away by this. Maybe just stick to Indian Chinese here? The staff is friendly and you are not rushed. The place is reasonably priced and I would definitely go back when I am craving some Indian Chinese goodness! I recommend.
Dint liked the manchow soup at all. Way to go for a good one. Although i liked the noodles and the veg manchurian. The manchurian had good taste and was good to eat. Found it a bit overpriced.. can be visited wid family and friends...good ambience
