Us Tavern - Hollidaysburg

A group of 27 in one of the private dining rooms. Staff Tony and Haley took care of us. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed. Very recommended.

The food is absolutely delicious. Great portions. We loved the atmosphere. Definitely a historical little gem. My husband got their western BBQ burger. I got their club sandwich and mac and cheese and we got a small margherita pizza to share. Everything was so good and we had leftovers for lunch the next day. Definitely will be going back.

Nicest place in Hollidaysburg. Is go do far as to say one if the nicest places to eat it drink in the entire area. They sporta gorgeous huge old wooden bar with one of the best selections of microbrews you'll find locally. The dining area reminds you of a house, but it's dressed up petty nice. The food is trendy gastropub style fare with a few fancier entree options. The prices are reasonable for what you get, but expect to pay for quality. The bathrooms are clean. The parking can be a bit full. I walked in at 6:30 on a Friday night and had no problem getting a table.

The food was excellent. They were a little busy with a party when we got there so it did take 14 minutes to get drinks. The waitress was pleasant. We had to sit at a hightop table which was a bit uncomfortable because the other few tables that would accommodate us were in need of bussing. I recommend the crabcake and crab soup. Be ready spend a little more then Texas Roadhouse. The atmosphere was nostalgic. The music was a hardrock which was not what I would have chosen for an upscale restaurant.

As for the food, it was served buffet-style, featuring desserts, salads, mixed vegetables, pasta, and chicken. The dessert was excellent, and the salad was decent, with the dressing playing a crucial role in its taste. However, the mixed vegetables were somewhat bland and could have used more seasoning. The pasta was good, but the chicken—with what I believe was gravy—fell short in flavor. It was probably the least impressive part of the meal, as the gravy didn’t add much taste, leaving the chicken rather plain. Overall, it was a great experience. The venue and entertainment were spot on, but the food definitely could have used a bit more seasoning.
