There is also no shortage of steakhouses, apart from your traditional chains, Ruth Chris, Capital Grille, Morton's etc. You have some luxury hotels with some big steak houses like the W in Fort Lauderdale. But don't let the diplomat prime under the radar. The hotel is located in The Diplomat Beach Resort Hollywood, Curio Collection by Hilton. The hotel has stunning views and houses of one of my favorite steak houses in South Florida. The service is excellent, the attention to detail and every dish from the appetizers my wife and I had the oysters and octopus) were delicious. On the main course I went with the Bone-in Filet Mignon. WOW could say anything, cut it like butter. Exquisite taste, Char and presentation. Perfectly cooked and enjoyed every single bite. To pack the night, we had the Crème Brule, which is the perfect way to wrap up an amazing dinner. I celebrated my promotion and my wife and I were thrilled, but the great service and small details to realize that we celebrated something special. Will definitely visit soon and maybe stay at the resort.
The beach was so beautiful felt like I was on a island and the hotel very very nice indoor palm trees thru out the lobby area and my ocean view from my hotel room breathtaking me and my family enjoyed it very much.
This is my first time to eat in this restaurant and I decided to make the pan meerrot chicken. There is a very complete texture and taste, you can taste any herbs in the dish, as well as and the vegetables are beautifully glazed. The rum and coke I ordered was my favorite strength both times I ordered it chicken is not terribly challenging to keep moisture, but the cook here brought more than the organic taste with a medley of spices; really a big chicken breast. I have no reason to criticize the food in this facility as a cook tonight, apart from possibly oversalting the chicken a TAD, chicken is simply too overseason. So it's said, Chef Reshaud(? I thought it was sous vide. The service was quite good with the servers watching more often than not, but we also stay in the hotel, so take that for what you will. Since I suspect that most people visiting this restaurant stay at the hotel, I could not recommend this restaurant enough. Since the cook is consistent every night, I am not afraid to call this one of the best places to take your date when money is not a problem. Disclaimer: The restaurant is located in the hotel, the diplomat and has no extravagant amount of dining area, but they make it with the high ceilings and attentive service.
We were on Mother's Day. The food was good and the staff was understandable with the menu. If you have dessert, the cream Brulee is a must try.
We visited for dinner last night with a group of six on March 4th, and everything was outstanding. The service was exceptional, and every dish we ordered was delicious—flavorful and expertly cooked. Our drinks were also fantastic. The atmosphere was just right, and our waiter, Fabian, was excellent. Megan, the general manager, is exactly what any restaurant needs at the helm. Although our reservation was slightly delayed, she communicated with us beautifully and was incredibly kind. It's clear she genuinely cares about guest satisfaction and went above and beyond, even though we were perfectly fine with the wait. Thank you again for a wonderful experience!
