Ichiban Ramen - Homer Glen

The egg served with the ramen was old, looking shriveled and discolored. The kamaboko, the pretty fish cake, was nearly rubbery and quite dried out. I also found it odd that they added corn to the ramen; it seemed like a filler rather than a legitimate ingredient. Additionally, the pork had more fat than meat, which was disappointing. The broth, which should be the star of the dish, tasted overwhelmingly salty, and it had a thick layer at the bottom when poured. Overall, it was extremely unimpressive. I’m sorry, but I must be honest in my review: while it was edible, it certainly wasn't enjoyable.

This is my favorite restaurant! Even when I take the food home, it's still fantastic! I visited today, and the woman at the counter was incredibly friendly and helpful. I travel an hour each way just to enjoy their Dan Dan noodles!

My grandchildren absolutely love this restaurant, even though they usually turn their noses up at nearly everything. If they’re willing to eat it here, I have to give it five stars!

Service was great but the beansprouts in the tonkotsu ramen were overwhelming imo. Sushi wasn't bad!

I’m happy to have recently stumbled upon this lovely hidden gem! They have both Ramen and a great variety of Sushi too. I used to live in California for a bit honestly thought it would be a hard time finding a sushi spot that compares but the quality here is great and fresh. Prices are reasonable as well highly recommended :
