Our local subway always comes through during busy days.
On my first visit, there were no bread options available, the customer service was extremely lacking, and there were no sauces or bread prepared for customers. To make matters worse, another customer cut in front of my family in line and didn't acknowledge us at all, which added to the strange atmosphere of the place. My mom, husband, and I all received poorly made sandwiches that weren’t wrapped properly or cut all the way through. It felt chaotic and disorganized. My second visit didn't improve at all. I tried to remain understanding and smile through it, as I was very hungry, but the experience was not enjoyable. The soda machine was malfunctioning, resulting in flat drinks with little syrup, and everything tasted watered down. I hesitated to speak up out of concern for further mistreatment from the staff, so I just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. The overall vibe felt off; they had a very limited selection of chips with only 3-4 choices available, and the employees came off as bossy and unapproachable. They made my husband and me feel like we were a burden just for ordering. When we finally got home to eat our sandwiches, we found that the bread was burnt. Despite our disappointment, we were too hungry to waste them, so we ate them anyway alongside the drinks, which also tasted off. The only thing that we enjoyed were the chips – which, amusingly, weren’t even made by Subway! Overall, I would rate this experience 1 out of 5 stars. I won’t be recommending this place to anyone, and I doubt I will return. Honestly, you're better off going to McDonald's; it’s much better and more affordable than spending $33 on two foot-long medium meals, including tip, at this stressful place.
The restaurant was exceptionally clean, and the staff performed their duties quickly and efficiently.
It's Subway, so you already know what to expect. Just a heads up: the staff here tends to be a bit overzealous with the condiments. If you ask for mustard, you're likely to end up with an entire half-gallon of it—it's the standard. I highly suggest grabbing the packets of mustard, mayo, oil, and vinegar by the soda machine instead. I know this may sound a little nitpicky, but hear me out... You finally create the perfect BMT, with just the right amount of veggies, your bread perfectly toasted, and your mouth watering in anticipation. Then, out of nowhere, your light mayo and mustard transform into a soup-like monstrosity that ruins your sandwich, leaving you with a soggy, disappointing mess.
