Reineckea Cafe Jí Xiáng Cǎo

The chef at this restaurant was incredibly friendly, recommending a dish to me and asking if I enjoyed it. I tried the vegetable noodles, which had a sauce made from canned mushroom soup that was decent yet not particularly special in taste.

While named Pureeckea Vegan Cafe, this restaurant actually serves ovo lacto vegetarian dishes that include eggs and milk, indicated by symbols on the menu. The vegan options we sampled were delicious and we also purchased some vegan frozen mock meat.

I am so thrilled! Today, I stumbled upon this new and innovative vegan restaurant, Reineckea, on the HappyCow vegan guide app. It has only been open for three months. The staff is extremely friendly, they offer a variety of fantastic frozen vegan products from Taiwan, and the ambiance with great Cen music made my experience enjoyable. I paid only HKD65 for lunch. I highly recommend this place!

Despite the name Reineckea Vegan Cafe, this restaurant is NOT vegan, it is ovo lacto vegetarian, marked with egg and milk dishes with symbols on the menu. The vegan options we tried were pretty and we also bought vegan frozen mosquito meat.
