Qq Tea House - Honolulu

We loved it here, my man and I are here on Christmas. we're new to the island and we're so happy we've eaten here. pink, the owner was the sweetest! our food was delicious! it was really tasteful and perfectly cooked. we can't wait to go back. it is really a jewel no matter how they eat, but ALL-area vegan and vegetarian should eat here! please check the place!

Soooo good. I’m not a big fan of faux meat but this places blows my mind. Curry, BBQ, pancakes, stir fry, mapo tofu... something for everyone. I might sound like the owner’s uncle but I’m not, I’m just a cheerleader for great businesses who serve excellent food. They even allow combination plates so you can sample a variety of items.

This place doesn’t look like much, but was a great find! I got the taro milk tea with almond milk (an option places never seem to have and the lunch plate with QQ BBQ, Mapo tofu, and meatballs. The tofu was my least favorite, with the texture being almost gummy or jiggly and lacking flavor, but my non-vegan dad didn’t mind it. The BBQ was made with a very convincing meat substitute and flavorful sauce, but my favorite was the meatballs. They were out of ginger chicken and the QQ tender, which also looked very good. I was able to do a half plate so I could try multiple things, which was a good option.
