Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. - Honolulu

We ate here a few times every time food was fresh. We tried the red snapper with Maische Potatoen Veges Mac n cheese. Service was very friendly staff. Restaurant on the top floor of the shopping center Ala Moana. Relaxed atmosphere. U can also buy Forrest Gump goods.

Really cool place to go especially if you love Forrest Gump. Enjoyed all the novelty things everywhere. The staff here were incredibly friendly and defiantly went out of their way to make sure everything was good. The food was better than I expected.

Our first dinner at Waikiki and it didn't disappoint! I've been to a few Bubba Gump stores and loved the concept of the restaurant which use the Forest Gump movie as the theme. Being first time visitor to Waikiki, it took us a while to find The restaurant which is located at the 4th floor at the massive Ala Moana centre. The restaurant was quite busy but we got a table 2 within a few minutes on a Sunday night. Service is fantastic from the start. We ordered the Watermelon Coronita, shrimp cheese and mac, surf and turf. The lovely waitress recommended we swapped the surf n turf with the full rack pork ribs and add shrimp as a side with only $1 extra as it is better value for money for sharing since the original surf n turf dish only come with half rack of ribs. We went with her recommendation. Love all the food that was served! So satisfied after a long flight today and plain yet overpriced Airline food !

Visited twice before I decided the time was right for a blog, first occasion was a bit of a hit and miss affair but because I know these places to be better and the timing was Christmas Day I thought it better to go again and be fair and boy how happy I was to do so. Lives up to its reputation as possibly the best shrimp house outside of Louisiana lol

Bubba Gump is located at the Ala Moana Centre right on the top level. The restaurant was extremely busy on the night I came here for dinner, having to wait for a table for about 25 minutes. The service was ok, they were friendly but I've experienced better service before. It was a bit slow. The drink I ordered came with a free souvenir glass that lights up which is pretty cool. For the main I had the Forrest's Seafood Feast which comes with shrimp, fish chips and seafood hush pups, along with 3 different dipping sauces. This dish was very filling and yummy, I enjoyed the variety of dipping sauces. The prices aren't too bad either.
