Kan Zaman - Honolulu

Great food, great service! Came for lunch on Tuesday. Falafel ordered for a starter, lamb kebab escape, and ended with the hot Moroccan mint tea. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious.

The staff were gracious and welcoming. The atmosphere was comfortable and quiet. The decor was clean and modern with some creative accents. The food was beautiful in it's presentation, fresh and well prepared. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I expect a spicier, fuller taste when I choose this kind of cuisine and they were stingy with the wine pour.

This is our second visit. First visit was marred by a bad parent and unruly child. Arrived 6:15 on Sunday: no reservation, no rush, no wait. Wait staff pleasant. The appetizer, lentil soup, was okay and came quickly. Dinners arrived as soon as the soup was cleared. Pickles are an interesting and tasty addition to the chicken shawarma. Mixed grill: lamb chop, excellent: chicken, good; beef, okay but tough with a lot of gristle.

Just...absolutely delicious (Arabic) Mediterranean food and fantastic customer service. Our waitress could not have been any more polite, helpful, and generous. You can tell that this restaurant not only goes to great concerted length to ensure that you have an incredibly savory and satisfying meal, but that you just enjoy being there!

This restaurant boasts a fantastic location in Kaimuki, offering Mediterranean cuisine for both lunch and dinner. We tried the appetizer combination, Falafel, and the Mediterranean tuna sandwich, and everything was outstanding. It’s a refreshing alternative to the typical Asian-inspired dishes found in the area. Plus, there were no crowds for lunch. I highly recommend giving it a try!
