Írjon visszajelzéstI needed a break from seafood and Asian food, so we came here. Pleasantly surprised by food. I ordered the Fukinus Alfredo, and it came fast, and was nice and hot, although it was missing in a little seasonal, a simple fix. I had added meatballs to my order and they were well cooked, filled and delicious. Good portion sizes, our service was great.
I had spaghetti and meet balls. Served with a piece of bread. All food well prepared but very little seasoning but the portion was generous. Restaurant was clean and staff polite. No parking available and prices are kind of on the expensive side.
This place would be a solid 4 stars if not for the bartender having a heavy hand with the liquor. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and was really impressed with the pasta being cooked just right and not overdone. The meatballs and sauce had a really complex flavor that would not be considered a safe dish for children. Also the fact that this restaurant has a short menu is a good sign of quality.
This is simply the worst food I’ve ever eaten. We had stale bread. Lasagna that tasted like mush, almost to the point that you don’t have to chew with your teeth (included is a picture of a piece of “lasagna” aka dog food). They were also rushing us the entire time at 6pm on a Wednesday night. They had NO bar selection either. This is a disgrace to all Italian places all over the entire world. So basically don’t come here unless you like your food prechewed, microwaved, stale, and expensive with no alcohol selection to even make it remotely better!! There’s so many better, cheaper places to eat in Waikiki (wheat barley in the international market place), don’t waste your time! after we left, we went to a place that’s actually palatable... McDonald’s.
I had a fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and to be honest I was very disappointed. The Alfredo sauce had no taste; not even the pasta! You could tell that they didn't even salt the water in which the pasta was boiled because even some salt in the pasta water would've have been infused into the pasta and would've been noticeable to those of us with a liking to the taste of salt. I had to add a good amount of salt to get just the slightest hint of taste. I understand that some restaurants may want to limit the salts/ spices used in dishes to accommodate a range of taste profiles but even the most novice of chefs should know that to make a dish a wonderful experience for the person eating it must have.have some flavor to it! Moving on to the chicken... What type of chicken did they use? I honestly felt like I was eating fake chicken. It was hard and felt more like I was eating a gummy bear that lost its taste and was left out in the sun too long. It was a disappointing dish especially since I've had such great and simple fettuccine Alfredo's in many other restaurants. I feel bad leaving such a bad review but the truth is the truth. As a restaurant you are supposed to provide your customers a gastronomic experience that leaves them happy and with a slight nostalgia to come back. In this case, I left disappointed and wishing I had eaten somewhere else.
