Xo - Honolulu

This restaurant was just fine for me. There were some dishes that wore me, but the Okonomiyaki was terrible. I wouldn't have ordered it to taste. I imagined an Okonomiyaki like the guy we eat in Osaka, Japan. This Okonomiyaki has not addressed my taste. I enjoyed the beet and pumpkin routine... the presentation was very nice and delicious. The adobo roasted chicken was just okay for me... I think if the sauce was poured over, she might have cost much better... it was nothing special, tasted like roasted chicken to me. The potatoes au gratin was delicious... liked the presentation.

Inventive menu with fusion flavors that (usually) worked. I would have appreciated some more vegetable options. You could use more than one server.

That was one of the best culinary experiences I ever had. I didn't stop working, had a cold, and was urgent in need of a good night out and some AMAZING food, and XO delivered. The fried chicken was worthy of my nana, and the exkargot ravioli was AMAZEBALLS. Service was excellent (warned us that meals were family style, but did not judge that I still wanted one of all).
