Romul's - HOOD RIVER

After all, it made it for dinner and glad we tried. I saw everyone eat last night, their food was as good as we were. So many decisions and all made in the house. The experience began with magnificent Focaccia, who quickly arrived, thrown in linen, at our table, which was presented with olive oil, balsamikum and bread plate. We all swallowed the last crumbs. As for service; attentive, responsive, knowledgeable and patient. Seamless attention to detail penetrates her work and effortless way. Kudos to her SOP. As for the menu. These are standard Italian-American dishes and specialties with a few adventurous items. We were also offered fresh Parmesan with each course. Wines from the glass castings are generous and the owner/bartender draws a middle espresso like in the vicinity of cups that I have ribbed in Florence and Milan . Speaking of dreams, Desserts! This is a fantastic place for a dessert date night. Super impressive dessert menu and all made in the house. Look at my photos. Ahmazing flourless chocolate cake! We served each one kiss from Proseco to enjoy after our meals. Salute! Very well done.

First time coming here and we thought it was pretty good. They undercooked my pork chop so we sent it back and I thought they would overcook it this time but it came back perfect. No comp for the inconvenience of having to wait for my food because of their mistake though. The sauce on the pork chop was really good and the chocolate cake was really good also. Service was good. Would probably try it again

We came here for an evening snack. We got beer, coffee and an amazing chocolate mousse cake. The staff were so friendly and we had a wonderful time. Hopefully we can come back for a full meal

Had an incredible dinner experience! Entrees, both pasta seafood, were delicious, and desserts were fantastic (sampled 4 of them espresso). Service was also excellent, and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner himself. The fine dining for four people was also quite reasonably priced. Definitely will return next time I am in Hood River.

Great food that is worth the price. My party had the lasagna, chicken parm, and linguini and it was all fantastic. The servers were also very nice and responsive, and knowledgeable about the food.
