Visited mid week for lunch. Lasagne was tasty but very oily. Felt a bit ill afterwards. Service was fairly attentive. Atmosphere is ok but not cosy. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Fish and Chips

Had the most amazing experience at the white hart Today! Found it so hard to choose after looking at the menu as everything looked so good The chef gave us a free sample of the vegan walnut chilli which was top notch The best vegan option we’ve ever tasted We had the Stilton and ham Kiev And the burger and it was sooooo good!! Popped in for a quick drink as I heard it was under new management! Very glad I did. Surprised to see lots of people I know now going back there. Great vibe, superb atmosphere. Was asked to come back for band night on Saturday, so I did with a few of my friends......what a night. It was absolutely on fire with so many people singing and dancing, like the good old pub days. New Manager, Heidi, obviously has a plan and so far is nailing it. Back there tomorrow for lunch with the family. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
