Írjon visszajelzéstI used to be a regular at Red Lion, an owner or two before. Wasn't back in a while and when I had a free morning with the man, we decided to make breakfast. The prices were more than before, and while I can understand that prices increase some, these prices seemed to rise more than the economy/costs of living calls. The food of the man, beef spread over a waffle, was not bad; While he could not complain, it was definitely nowhere near the best he ever had. On the other hand, my meal should be French toast made with cinnamon bread and covered with sugar. No sugar, no cinnamon bread. In fact, it did not even taste as if the pieces of egg were washed, simply tasted like thick sliced bread placed on the grill. I didn't complain. I just wanted to eat and go. But honestly, if you screw the French toast, I'm worried about the rest of the menu. I will say the host was nice and our waiter was close and very attentive. All in all, not in all haste to go back.
I've longed to call home for a long time, and after I came here a few times, I can say confidently that's it. Eating here feels like a meal in a friend's house. The food is always exactly the way I like it, no matter how many extra requests I raise! They also have dead dead who are surprisingly hard to find! Every server I had here was incredibly sweet, friendly, attentive and personal. Write this review today after being served by Shirley who was an absolute doll, even though she was the 4th. Juli was!
That was such a sweet little authentic diner! Huge menu with much to choose. Your pancakes were delicious. Our waitress was so friendly and personal! She made sure we had a good time and made sure everything was done. She even brought the whole can with whipped cream so that we could have the amount we wanted on our pancake/french toast. The menu prices were very good and nothing was overpriced. The portions were great and I could only finish half my meal. It was honest with one of the best culinary experiences I had in a diner. I share it here very much.
Stood at the door for over five minutes on a Saturday morning. No one even greeting, but passing by. Place was not that busy at 10am. Got seated and then sat there for about 15 min waiting to order before getting up and and walking out. Again, place was no where near busy. Waiter didn't provide kids menus even though saw two kids at the table. I had specifically ask for them after about 10 min. This tells me they wanted us to order $12/$13 breakfasts for our less than 10 year old kids. Went down the road to lancers diner. Place was packed, got seated in about ten minutes, had a great breakfast with great service and was out of there under an hour. You lost this long time patron, family of four. $60+ average bill per visit.
Hadn't been here for about 6 months since we know the original owner sold the place again, and it made us skeptical. We decided to try it and WOW it was such a great experience. Waitress was nice, food was delicious. Highly recommend the French Onion Soup, it's the original owners recipe!! Prices were a little higher than they used to be, but that's anywhere these days. Definitely a great experience and we will be dining in again, hopefully this time with our favorite waitress that has worked there for years!
