Parkhotel Horst

We paid extra for a room with view to the lake, so that was nice. Bed was comfortable, but nothing was special besides the view. There were no amenities in the bathroom, just a generic dispenser on the wall with liquid soap for hair, body, etc! Breakfast buffet never changed, and was supermarket quality. Coffee same. No water provided at all €4.50 euro to have a bottle of tap water! Hotel staff were not very friendly or helpful, except for one lady who served food on the veranda. The appetizers we had on the veranda were very good.

Das Hotel besuche ich nun zum 3. Mal. Leider bin ich diesmal enttäuscht . Das Zimmer ist zwar sehr groß, allerdings finde ich, dass für ein 4 Sterne Haus, Staub im Badzimmer gar nicht geht. Ich glaube das Föhnkabel wurde noch nie gesäubert. Das alleine, wäre noch ok, aber sich im Restaurant nicht willkommen zu fühlen ist sehr bedauerlich. Heute habenwir deshalb zu einem Restaurant in der Nähe gewechselt. Sehr schade, bin ich bisher anders gewohnt. Es wurde heute noch nicht mal auf meinen Sohn 4 Jahre eingegangen. Ich hätte wie gestern, nach der Kinder karte fragen müssen. .

The water was not warm. I had to get out of the bath. Shower was also not hot. I tried in evening and in morning, same result. No hot water. No phone number of the reception at the telephone in the room. The water issue was extremely annoying but besides that it is overall a nice hotel, spacey rooms, close to motorway A73. But they need to fix water temperature.

Overall good experience. It would be nice if the staff at the bar are allowed to provide tap water as opposed to pushing pricy bottled water to customers.

I came for business trip to this hotel, everything was bad, they don't clean your room properly, leave your toilet super dirty, and when you tell reception people, they are rude and don't know that's the meaning of customer service. Pleun on reception was extremely unprofessional, untrained, disrespectful and rude, unfortunately very very far away from actual 4 starts hotels in other places in the world. I will make sure my company never book in this hotel again.
