Snead's 1912 Steak - Hot Springs

Several friends and I recently had a girl in The Homestead. We ate on the plot and were not all impressed with our meal. We let us feel disappointed. Then we went to Snead 's 1912 and WOW! The atmosphere, the food and the waitress were top notch! The majority of our group had the special peace chicken, which was delicious (and the biscuit! , but I still think of this brussel sprouts- AMAZING!!! Kudos to Jessica, our wonderful waitress. She was attentive and friendly and made us home and comfortable. I will definitely recommend Snead 's 1912 to visit friends Hot Springs. Thank you for a wonderful culinary experience!

My husband and I had dinner at Snead's 1912 steak and had an amazing time. We live in Washington DC and thought Snead could easily compete with other upscale restaurants in the city. Dinner was not pretentious at all and the food was worth the three-hour trip to Hot Springs. Chef Mattie knows how to cook a steak with the love and care it deserves! Also, you cannot go wrong with one of the sauces that are options with the steak. Do not leave the restaurant without ordering the crispy Brussel spies. You should get a required page with each Entrée you. We also tried the fried chicken and OMG, it was amazeballs. The server was attentive without being overlaid. Add Sneads to your list of have to taste restaurants!

Excellent! Filet was the best I ever had. Our server Oscar was great. Very attentive staff. Thanksgiving birthday car from the staff. Nice touch. Would definitely return if ever in the beautiful area.

What a wonderful place to celebrate my birthday. My two daughters treated me for dinner and it was great. The food was delicious. The service was excellent and the whole evening in your restaurant was a great experience. Thank you for a great evening and I highly recommend your restaurant.

The food was great and the service was top notch. Holly makes amazing drinks!! I had the prime rib and I would put it at number two on my list of best prime rib ever. Banana foster is my absolute favorite dessert and I would have to say that it was as good as my husband makes (that doesn't happen often! . David had the ribeye and said it was cooked to perfection. We will definitely go back again, looking forward to trying the trout on the menu and the rib special.
