Bonfire At The Continental Fire Co.

We had hoped to go out for a nice dinner to wrap up our mini vacation but ended up sorely disappointed. Right away, our server let us know about the list of things they were out of and after we ordered, he came back to tell us that they were now out of one of the entrees we ordered. It's Saturday on a busy weekend in town with a whole lineup of bands playing... You should be EXTRA stocked on ingredients to be prepared for the rush. We had hoped things would be okay with the great band playing and nice atmosphere, but our drinks were weak and our appetizer took over an hour to get to our table. The table next to us ordered after us and got their entrees before us. Once our food did arrive, it was not hot, the sides were uncooked and tasted terrible, and the one steak at our table was so rare it looked like they painted the grill marks on (ordered it to be medium . Our server wasn't attentive during all our waiting for food and took ridiculously long to bring us a drink refill (we finished 2 rounds of drinks before we got our entrees..insane.. As someone who has done everything in the service industry from dishwashing and serving to bartending and cooking, I'm incredibly patient and understanding and always tip when the server is trying their best, even when the kitchen makes mistakes... but tonight, no way. We wasted over $100 on a meal that was absolutely awful with less than mediocre service. This place has the opportunity to be something incredible.. The building is so cool and the stage for live music is awesome. Literally the only good part of our time tonight was listening to one of the bands. Bad service. Bad food. Great atmosphere and music.

First of all. After an 8 hour drive this place looked the most appealing and boy did it not disappoint. I sat upstairs at the bar and had Ben as my bartender and server. Awesome service, attentive, knowledgeable and made a great watermelon margarita. The food was spectacular. Ribeye cooked perfect med rare. Lobster tail not overcooked and rubbery. Garlic parm fries crispy and tasteful. Salad and green beans tasted fresh and not bland. Highly recommend this place.

Waitress was nice and took our order right away. The man singing sounded good. We ended up waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our food. Everything was cold and none of us liked our food. $130 bill to wait for far too long and be sorely disappointed by our meals. I would not recommend this place to eat.

The jewel of this town! Friends recommended to us after a terrible experience with another establishment. I was amazed! Everything we ordered was top notch, fresh, and the highest quality on our trip this far. Allergy friendly and accommodating. The owner and bartender took the time to really make our visit special and share with us details on the building. There was no live music when we were there but the setup is amazing... Stage, lights, the works. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

I really want to like this place, but it 's a mixed bag. The atmosphere is great, either at the bar or at any of the tables. The food is beautifully presented, and they typically have a lot of interesting specials to choose from. The bartenders are great. The table service is fairly quick, but odd. The vegetarian in our party received their salad with a chicken breast on it. The server insisted that they had ordered meat on it. No, they did not. On another visit, we asked if the berry cheesecake on special had berries on top, or swirled inside. The server said that it was like tiramisu. What?? For starters, I have tried the Cheese Curds, the Jalapeno Poppers, and the Arancini (a special). They were all dry, as if they had been sitting out a while. The ravioli with pesto is not a true basil pesto, the sauce is mostly spinach. The desserts have all been delicious, although more expensive than I have paid at fine dining restaurants in cities. Also, the cheesecake was served with a spoon that is difficult to use, it 's sort of deep and tapered at the end, and really uncomfortable. I 'd also like to see some more creative vegetarian options. Vegetarian options: They do have a few vegetarian entrees, but they are very tired options. Nothing interesting.
