The Patio - Houma

Visiting from FL stumbled on this gem last night. Seems to be a local spot. Sat and ate at the bar. Food was delicious the bartender was very personable and provided excellent service. I had scallops shrimp Mac Cheese and it was delicious with very fresh seafood. My daughter had the Pollo Maria and she said very fresh with crispy breading. Our other family member had the flounder, shrimp grits and it was the probably the tastiest out of all 3 dishes.

We like the open and airy seating. The staff here are always so nice and pleasant.

Staff member (David) was extremely rude, told me to go ahead and call the owner. I asked the server to speak to a manager, the chef came out. He and the server were very kind and apologetic. (My opinion, this person must have done this to customers before) I left a message for the owner to contact me... one week later and still no call. The lack of concern to address the situation from the owner gives me the impression that he does not care about paying customers, so I will happily take my business elsewhere.

We visited this restaurant for a special Sunday brunch while celebrating my brother's birthday with the whole family, including my 14-month-old nephew who has special needs. The dining area is somewhat small but elegant and tastefully decorated. We noticed a few other families and some ladies chatting at their tables, but we received a warm welcome and were seated quickly. Although there was only one server, he managed to take care of everyone efficiently. It appeared that two tables arrived just before us, which resulted in a longer wait for our food. However, we did receive our appetizer promptly, along with some biscuits to keep us satisfied while we waited, which was a nice touch. Our drinks were consistently refilled as well. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, and we were very happy with our choices. I highly recommend the honey cream crepes and the bagel sandwich with bacon jam. The only suggestion I have for improvement is to consider hiring additional kitchen staff to help reduce the waiting time for food.

This restaurant is truly delightful. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The staff is exceptionally attentive and friendly. It has a sophisticated atmosphere, making it an ideal choice for couples looking to dine out. While it welcomes guests of all ages, it primarily caters to adults, making it a great option for a lunch outing with younger diners as well. I highly recommend it!
