We arrived at 5:30 PM on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised by the way the staff accommodated us. Instead of just one table, they arranged for us to have two separate tables for two, allowing my teenage son and his girlfriend to enjoy their date while we had our own space. The food was outstanding—among the best I've had at any gastropub. We particularly loved the salmon starter from a special menu featuring ingredients sourced from the local farmers market. Additionally, the staff went above and beyond to address our requests, and the service was impeccable. This place is so exceptional that I’m almost hesitant to recommend it because I know it will become very popular. But seriously, you should definitely check it out. With top-notch offerings, we will definitely be returning!

I consistently receive fantastic service here, and the food is both delicious and of the highest quality! The Hunters Bar is perfect for all sports events or just for enjoying a drink. The staff always go above and beyond for their customers, and they also cater to private events. I highly recommend the Fox and Hounds to everyone—it’s definitely a must-try!

The Hunters Bar has a fantastic atmosphere and an incredibly friendly bar staff. After enjoying a pint while watching the rugby, I decided to try a meal, and it was an excellent choice. I highly recommend this bar—the food is not to be missed!

This is a great traditional village pub. Staff is very friendly and I have always enjoyed my food. It is well worth a visit.
