I tried the Biryani plate it reminded me my local village style flavors and taste. Please try food here. I tried food on a wrong date when it was there first anniversary in Houston it was heavily crowded. But after the delay I felt like waiting is worth it. And the staff also apologized for the delay. They are very concerned about there customers.
Please try the chicken dosa and the rava dosa. Kulipaniaram is mind blowing. I always order this here. The owner is a friendly person who gave insights on how they cook in the kitchen and why the dishes are called like that and how passion is their chef about cooking. Nice ambience. Friendly staff band good food. That's what you need when you go out to eat. It was an awesome experience to learn about the food while enjoying the food. Must visit.
This place I visit recently, I got Bryani with a goat curry, it was good and very very spicy.. This place I believe is good for spicy lovers.. The curry had me running, so be prepared lol
Update: I had the chance to dine in this time, and the staff were friendly and provided quick service. The average wait time for food orders was reasonable. The taste and quality of the food were comparable to that of the same restaurant in India, and this time the salt and spice levels were just right. The seating can accommodate large groups comfortably, and there was pleasant instrumental music playing in the background. Dishes like Kaada roasts capture the flavors of Chettinad cuisine wonderfully, and they pair perfectly with Parota, Biryani, idli, dosa, or curd rice. The Tandoori mushrooms were unique and great for newcomers. The Vegetarian Kothu Parota was tasty but could use a bit more flavor. Overall, a fantastic culinary experience!
I really enjoyed the idiyappam and curry. The Ceylon Paratha is my favorite dish here, and it's consistently excellent. However, the Kothu Parota could use some improvement. Sunday evenings are the best time to visit as it was quite empty then. During other times, it tends to be crowded, resulting in longer wait times. This time, the waiting staff was very attentive, which was a nice change from my first visit when they were overwhelmed. I’m looking forward to trying the Thali on my next visit!
