Írjon visszajelzéstOnce we received our drinks, we were disappointed—they had a heavy liquor taste, as if they were hastily thrown together without a bartender's care. We ended up having to mix our drinks to make them more palatable. For our meals, I ordered shrimp and grits, while my boyfriend opted for catfish and grits. Unfortunately, the grits were hard and undercooked, although the shrimp were decent; they just didn’t provide many, so I left feeling unsatisfied. To add to the frustration, we waited another 20 minutes just to get our check. We thought our ordeal might be over once we settled the bill, but there was more to it. On top of the gratuity automatically charged for our meal, we were hit with an extra $20 fee because my boyfriend wrote "disappointment" in the tip area of the receipt, which summed up our feelings about the visit. The music was another downside; it felt like a DJ was trying to teach another DJ how to mix tracks, which was not the vibe we were looking for during a Sunday brunch. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and we decided to leave and find a different spot that offered brunch specials and attentive service. We had been to this restaurant before when it was relatively new, and it certainly did not reflect the quality we experienced back then. Not sure if there’s been a change in ownership or if they are closing down, but this visit was a letdown.
Despite the restaurant not being busy, it took a while for our waiter to attend to us. When she finally did arrive, she seemed unsure about several menu items and their accompaniments. Additionally, many dishes were unavailable, limiting our options. When the food arrived, it lacked flavor. The music was quite loud, creating a bar-like atmosphere, and the lighting was too dim for my liking. While the ambiance had potential, the overall vibe didn’t sit well with me. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and don't plan on returning.
First time attending. Went for Sunday brunch. We walked in waiting to be seated no one at host stand. Ladies at the bar said seat yourself, then a man asked if we had reservations , we did so I showed him my phone with it. It took a while for our waiter , although the place was not busy at all. Then the waiter acted like she didn't even know what some items on the menu where and what came with the order. They were out of a good amount of food, so some things on the menu we couldn't order. . The food had no taste to it. The music was too loud, like a bar setting. Lights were dim way too low. It was nice atmosphere but I just did not like the vibes to it. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I do not plan on going back.
First, I want to highlight that the concept of the restaurant is appealing, and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. However, I have to express some concerns. We arrived at 2:30, shortly after they opened at 11, and we were the only customers there, yet they were already out of champagne. They also didn’t have stuffed French toast available, but instead offered French toast sticks, which weren’t listed on the menu. Additionally, they were out of steak and syrup, and had to go out to get more syrup and champagne. I find it puzzling that they would be unprepared for the brunch they advertise. I really want to support this place, but it just doesn’t add up.
This place is horrible! We sat and waited over 30 mins before we went to the bar and asked for assistance. When the waitress finally came to the table she asked what were we drinking but assured us that food would take over an hour. For that we passed on food but ordered drinks. She then disappeared and after 20 mins we left. The bar sits in the front so because we didn't see her return it was pointless to wait. This was not a busy night. It was a Saturday but it was about 5 tables with people sitting. Never again!
