Írjon visszajelzéstI had the fried fish and french fries. I loved the fish and it's exactly how I like my batter to be, which is thin and crispy fried in cornmeal and seasoned. However, the fries were not hot and not seasoned at all. I asked for hot sauce and whatever this paste is, tasted like something toxic. That is definitely not hot sauce and I could not put it on my fish. Also, with any restaurant, tartar sauce should be homemade. Not the packs. Those are horrible. I will return to try something else off of the menu.
I love the lamb, fish, and shrimp over the rice..however I decided to try the fried chicken late one night. The chicken was fried to order but the meat tasted like it was going bad. Like it was sitting out before they fried it... I got slightly sick. Probably wouldn't have tasted this way had they rinsed the chicken before frying it... the meat tasted like it was handled by dirty hands and fried
The lamb over rice with white sauce is exceptional at this restaurant, while the fried chicken is only average and not recommended. If you're unsure of what to order, any meat with rice and veggies is a safe choice. Opt for the small size as it is enough to satisfy anyone, while the large is excessive. The service is consistently good with a rating of 3.5-4, but the atmosphere is limited by the old building and inconvenient restroom location on the second floor. Prices have increased, with a small lamb over rice now costing $9 compared to $5 in the past. Despite the higher prices, the quality and portion size make it worth it. You will likely become a regular at this spot and will return to try more of their delicious food. Thank me later.
I've been hearing about this awesome halal restaurant for ages from a buddy, so I finally gave it a shot. We ordered Chili Cheese Fries, Lamb Over Spicy Rice, and Combo over yellow rice. The food was delicious and the meats were perfectly cooked. The portion sizes were just right. Now, I'm usually a fan of spicy stuff, but the spicy rice was too spicy, and I thought I am gonna die. Lesson learned, next time I'm sticking to the yellow rice. Thanks to my friend who recommended it. Now I am recommending all of you.
We were passing by for a few months and finally decided to try the chicken here. Never, ever again! The customer service was great. Atmosphere was nice, but their chicken was straight trash, with absolutely no seasoning. Chicken looked and tasted like it was fried in burnt cooking oil, It was horrible! Spent $30 on 2 of the 4 piece and after eating 1 piece, between myself and husband, we couldn't eat anymore. If I could have given zero stars, I would have. I don't see how anyone can eat their chicken. We're too afraid to try anything else here after this experience. This was a complete waste! I still had to cook, because we were so hungry, in which I didn't plan on doing. I wouldn't recommend Jones chicken to a starving dog, because a dog wouldn't eat their chicken.
