Írjon visszajelzéstThis was my very first visit. The food taste and quality was good, but not great. The portion size is mediocre. The alcoholic beverage is small-martini type glasses, yet the price is up there with the restaurants that give way more. Service was good-ialways tip! My waiter did have to correct my order-he brought something different than what I asked for. Plus during my order,I added to my plate...I don't know how he mixed it up. It might've been the fact he speaks mostly Spanish. But then again, Ipointed at the order as I spoke. Eye contact and all. Not bad, but not a place I'd frequent.
One of my favorite places to grab lunch or dinner! Edit: Back again! Here's a nice photo this time! ????
I’ve been enjoying Tex-Mex food at Los Tios for many years since they opened in the 1970s in Meyerland. It has always been good, but ever since the original owners sold the restaurant, I’ve noticed a decrease in spice levels. Everyone has their own preference, but I like Tex-Mex to have more flavor without relying heavily on hot sauce. My main issue is with the enchilada gravy; it lacks flavor and is used too generously. I believe a chili con carne gravy would be a better match for cheese enchiladas than the bland sauce currently served. That’s just my opinion, and I suspect many locals who frequent the place would agree. Nonetheless, I’m glad to see that Los Tios has lasted this long, and I will continue to visit, but I’ll be more selective in my choices to find dishes with more flavor.
My family introduced us to Los Tios 50 years ago, and I've fond memories of it. After my husband got a job transfer, we were away for over 20 years, but when we returned, I asked my mother about the delicious puffy tacos, and she confirmed that Los Tios was still around. Fast forward to now, we've been trying to take our friends there to experience the puffy tacos for almost two years, and we finally made it. Everyone loved it! The flavors were just as good as we remembered, and the queso was still excellent. However, the tacos seemed to have lost their signature puffiness. On the plus side, the service was great, and our server was very attentive. Regardless, we definitely plan to return. We drove all the way from Webster to Meyerland, which speaks volumes about how much we enjoy the food.
One of my favorite places in the neighborhood! Feathencio is always there to greet us, and the food and margaritas are fantastic!
