Luby's - Houston

I left after being notified my order was ready; it was not ready when I arrived and took ~8 minutes for someone to assist me, my order was not complete the meals seemed overpriced for their quality.

The female at the pick up window was rude and unprofessional when I tried to pick up my order, she made me go around and park and walk inside to get my order that was already on the shelf ready to go; she refused to give me my order. I had my elderly, disabled mother with me and I had to put her through this terrible service experience.

Well seasoned chicken fried chicken. Cabbage and great northern beans were great. Staff was friendly.

The food has declined over the years but that great service is still around. Miss Doris did a wonderful job of caring for my family and I. She wouldn't let us get anything for ourselves and made sure to keep checking back. I'm not interested in eating here again but if I did I know who I would look for.
