Mama Rosa's Pupuseria - Houston

You don't know what took me so long to write a review. Since I moved to Houston about 6 years ago, I was on a mission to find the best Pupusa in the city. I tried a handful of businesses, but hands down, Mama Rosa Pupuseria wins! Not only are their pupusas perfect in any way, but the restaurant is very clean, the curtido is fresh, and everything I tried it was amazing. My father, not really fan of other kitchens (we are Mexican), has loved this place and now goes alone, and has recommended his friend. I was here with friends and everyone loved it. I'm back, of course. It's delicious!

Stopped here Thursday 7/8 to treat someone special to authentic Salvadoran foods and not disappointed. Everything was great. I'm definitely back.

Big Popusa They are always hot and fresh the fruit drinks are great there! They always give you enough fruit in the drink. It is a small place, but not very crowded it is good for small family meetings.

I would definitely be back to this restaurant, it was the first time trying authentic food from el Salvador and it was delicious, the pupusas were amazing, full of flavor. The service was great. Strongly recommend to ask for the pan con gallina.
