Piggy's Kitchen - Houston

The food was excellent. The only water was room temp I had to ask for ice from the bar. It was 50⁰ when I was there. They had ceiling fans and a stationary fan on high and two doors open in the small indoor dining area, so it was uncomfortably cold.

Great food. Good DJ on Sunday. Pretty much self serve. Hard to find parking.

Have to say it’s one of my favorite outdoor places for a beer or two, plus snacks or brunch. However, again today I visited with my wife and walked out to go elsewhere . They have a blackboard of beers, however they are not beers, largers and wheat/white , without a dark/red beer in sight. I’ve asked and asked but it’s very rare they have a decent BEER , so unfortunately I’m walking out more and more. I go with numerous family and friends, but I won’t stay if they’re not going to have a decent beer for me to drink, just one would do!

I love the Piggy's for its large outdoor patio with trees and well separated from the streets around. Perfect place for a beer.
