Írjon visszajelzéstThe restaurant has a diverse menu with great drink options. However, the burger buns and Korean BBQ Chicken sandwich buns were soggy and fell apart. The Korean BBQ Chicken sandwich was not as good as Chick-fil-A's, as it lacked the BBQ flavor and had a different taste than the usual strips. The coconut cream coffee was amazing. The service was decent, but the kitchen was slow and the restaurant was understaffed, despite having empty tables. Overall, the restaurant used to be great before the pandemic, but there are now better options available for the same price.
The service at this restaurant was extremely slow. Despite pointing to the dish we wanted on the menu, the waiter brought the wrong dish to one of us. Half of our food sat on the kitchen counter for 10 minutes while we waited for the remaining dishes. Even after receiving four out of the five orders, they had to rush the last dish (which was also incorrect), causing us to wait even longer. The quality of the food was lacking, especially the Mac and cheese which was just noodles without any cheese. While we have had better experiences at other True Food Kitchens, we would not recommend this particular location.
This restaurant is new to me, and it is next-door to a Whole Foods grocery store in the Galleria area of Houston, in other words, a very busy high-end retail area. We ate outdoors, because the weather was so very nice, but that also meant we had a lot of street noise. I had a vegetarian squash casserole, and my niece had a tuna poke bowl. Both were just excellent. Our server was very nice and very responsive as was the manager. Parking is a little tricky to find if you haven’t been there before. They do have a ramp, and there is some free parking but we ended up using the valet service which is $10. The food was quite reasonably priced, especially given the area. We were quite pleased with our experience at True Foods.
The service was wonderful, but they forgot our salad. When it was time to pay and leave quickly, we couldn't get any attention. The food was good overall, with some dishes ranging from okay to great. The Edamame dumplings were fantastic. In conclusion, it was a positive experience.
As always the food at True Food Kitchen never disappoints. The only feedback I'd wish to express is on the service. We had been seated 10 minutes before someone came to serve our table.
