Pier 500 - Hudson

Nice outdoor patio. Shaded, with pretty views of the park and river. It was busy for Sunday brunch. The road in front of the restaurant is loud with traffic, motorcycles, trucks, boats etc. everyone playing their music so sometimes it’s hard to have a conversation. The food was good. We had cheese curds, walnut blue cheese salad, mimosas and French toast. Parking: Meter parking along the river front during the weekday and a parking lot next to the restaurant. Additional street parking a block away.

The best restaurant in Hudson. Service is always superlative. From cocktails to desert, there isn’t a miss on the menu. Their kids menu is an incredible value that you can feel good about your kids eating. And to top it all off, they treat their staff the right way. We enjoyed a steak and the Walleye dinners. The food was cooked perfectly. We had Morgan as our server and she was great. Excellent setting and a beautiful outdoor dining area. No Hazy IPA on tap but the IPA was good.

I’ve been here several times and always enjoy the food and service!! The most recent time I went, it was quite busy so service was slow and a couple mistakes were made (not a big deal I get it), and they went way above and beyond to try to make it right. Genuinely the most wonderful service and experiences here! The yum yum steak bowl is my go-to ?

We shared a chicken, cranberry salad, then we both has our own perfectly walleyed pike as our entrees. Great wine list, interesting cocktails list. Ended by sharing a huge piece of chocolate cake. Wonderful service with a perfectly prepared dinner. A great time! Parking: As long as there's no event at nearby Phipps Theatre, there's ample parking Kid-friendliness: There's were a number of family there with young children so appears restaurant is well able to hand children adults.
