I hadn’t visited The Pheasant in many years, but I was eager to check it out after hearing it had reopened under new management. Four of us went there last night, and we were all thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and cozy. The food was of high quality, and the service was both friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back. Thank you all for a wonderful evening! The price per person was £40–50.

Turned up when quite busy but made to feel very welcome. There was no room in the restaurant area. We had a table in the bar area, and this was just as comfortable. Lovely and warm with the log fires burning. The food and service were excellent, and we will be back when we pass again Parking: Large gravel parking space, plenty of room to manoeuvre. Wheelchair accessibility: You can gain access from the side door, but because of gravel parking, make sure you drop off near entrance. Small step into restaurant.
