Three menus are a Mediterranean sampler that mixes flavors from the countries of the Italian, Turkish, Spanish, etc. The two of us shared a sabra sampler that contained a tomato base Carbonada and Tzatziki with a spin. The mango salad with avocado had generous slices of both fruits and their version of a green goddess dressing, sweet but not excessive. Chicken cabobs were grilled, juicy and had a light, pleasant heat that seemed to hit the mouth right (like the back of the throat). Don't worry, it's not a hot hot dish. All foods it is organic, grass fed, or wild caught. For Dessert we gave generous chocolate Bomba. Service is over excellent. It is always a good idea to call ahead or make a reservation.
This place is hidden gem!! I read the reviews before going, as I was just looking for a place to grab a bite with a friend while I was in the area, and they were all so positive. Now I see why! The food is fresh (homemade hummus, grassfed meats, fresh fish, etc), the service was top notch, and just the overall experience was amazing. It reminded me of eating in Europe, where the chefs and server take pride in what they're preparing and serving. I will definitely be going back!!
Very pleasant surprise. The pizza was far better than I had expected. We stopped here just to grab something quick and continue on our route. Didn't expect much, yet my expectations were far exceeded. It was midday on a Friday and the entire shopping center seemed to have little going on. Went into this place and ordered a small pizza to go, check the photos. The pizza was excellent and the toppings were fresh and delicious. Highly recommend
I really wish this place lived up to the reviews I read here. I was really wanting a good Gyro, but unfortunately they are only served for lunch and they will not make one at dinner time, no exceptions.. I got the lamb kebab with couscous and friend got the lamb and beef with rosemary potatoes. Portions are small, you'll easily have room for dessert. Bread is pizza dough balls with butter. I have never had kebabs like this, there were no vegetables with the meat. I've always seen them made at least with onions, maybe peppers, mushrooms, tomato etc along with the meat. This was just the meat. It was cooked well (properly) and was tender. but had no other flavor. It was not marinated in anything. The Lamb/beef was gross to me, like a meatball (and later proved to not agree with my friends stomach). There was a red sauce that was served with the kebabs. It had some spice to it, but it was ice cold. I'm not sure why I would put an ice cold sauce on a hot dish. We had gotten tzatziki sauce which was just yogurt and garlic. I mean the garlic was VERY strong and I like garlic. But you couldn't taste much else in it.. Service was meh. Initially we had to ask for drinks and then condiments. I think the server picked up on that we were a little annoyed and was then overly attentive. I tried the Baklava and that was good. I went in with high hopes. I was disappointed when i found out no gyro and I should have left then, but figured I would give a new place a try..Cost was higher than I felt it should have been for the quality. I've had better at Zoe's Kitchen..
I visited Da Bistro on a Friday night with some friends; I need to say that while the waiter and staff were nice and the food was good I wasn 't really impressed. The portions were way too small for the price they charged. My friend ordered a shrimp scampi dish and it was mostly pasta and 4 pieces of shrimp. If you do end up going to this place please get the spicy lamb soup you 're welcome :
